Any mods for the BC245XLT or 3000XLT?

I recently acquired both a Uniden BC245XLT and a BC3000XLT. I like the 3000 for the extended freqs. but hate that it doesn't track trunks (thats the reason for the 245!). I dont' know how you all feel about this topic but you seem to have several intelligent people posting here so I thought I would give it a try. I would like to open up the cellular frequencies on one of the scanners. I also own an ESN reader which I picked up from my local cellular installer that will locate and monitor the strongest Forward Channel Carrier. My problem with that is all my conversations are one sided. If you can provide me with any information I would greatly appreciate it!
