: MSO Stands for Medical Service Officer, it is Medic 1's supervisors sometimes they are dispatch out when there is no inservice medics. Or sometime they are dispatched in addition to medic units.
The MSO's in the Valley Com area all drive late model Ford Explorers that have "Medic One" all over them.
