I'd be interested in hearing from anyone monitoring
the Seattle trunked system on the BC-235XLT.
Since you are limited to only 30 channels in a trunking
bank, what 30 channels are you using? There is more
than 30 active frequencies in use by City of Seattle and
several control channels--intermixed with the
King Co. system as well.
Are there frequencies that tend to be only used by Seattle
PD and Fire? I haven't been able to tell yet,
but it doesn't seem like it. Certain control channels
tend to control FD and PD traffic, but using another control
channel in another part of the city I only hear PD.
Using another scanner, the FD is transmitting on one
of the trunked channels plugged in, but the
TT never monitors it.??
There's a lot to learn and figure out, but those are
some of my initial questions for anyone.
