The air bottles, which are not oxygen, but just plain 'air', are only good for something like 20-30 minutes. So, at a big fire, they need replenishment tanks so that, after a mandatory break, the firefighters can go back in with a fresh bottle of air.
: Various times I have heard "Air" Units being dispatched to fires by the SFD. Today, I drove by Air 10, and it is not what I thought it was. What kind of units are the Air units?
