There is a solution!! though it will cost from $40-80.
It is a converter that stepps down 800 mhz freqs 400 MHZ
so you can listen to 800-912 on your scanner by tuning in
400-512. Grove (www.grove.net) sells one called the GRE
super converter and you can get a kit from ramsey electronics
to build one your self (cheaper). Hope that helps.
