417.200 is a repeater output for the GSA Federal Protective Service. This agency covers Federally occupied spaces, both Fed owned, as well as leased.

417.200 is wirelined to Denver for dispatch, and is also linked to an identical repaeter in Portland, located at the KGON site.

They dispatch both the patrols, as well as the guards (10Gxx units)

The primary repeater is located at the VA hospital on Beacon hill, and a second repeater is located at 3 Sisters in Auburn. It sounds like they might be simulcasting from both sites now.

415.200 is a simplex "Tac" for the Washington / Oregon patrols. Last check the Denver Dispatch could not hear this freq.

Incidentally, the mobiles in this fleet all run 110 watts out.

: : anyone know why there's increased activity on 417.2 lately?? i just tuned in this week after months of not listening..

: : i have 417.2 listed as a federal freq, but i donno what branch.. usually i heard a good drug bust once a month.. but now it's small traffic stops five times a day.

: 417.2 is KPA 966, General Services Administration-Law Enforcement Branch. Probably increased awareness of suspicious types is causing more activity.
: They used to be on 415.2 also.
