I have noticed these around for a few months now. Could they simply be part of the new signal syncronizing device to help reduce congestion along Aurora Ave?

Personal note: after they did this I still get stuck at each light!!! Just my luck huh... :(

: OK,
: -the schematic at metro shows ANTENAE that picks up a signal from the coach's transponder (why would there be one on EACH light?)
: -the 'strobe' detectors for the emergency vehicles are everywhere BUT King county and they are small-grey barrel shaped with a narrower barrel at the front and ONE per lightset (trust me, I *would* have hacked it had it been in 206 ;)
: -Seattle uses magnetic loop detectors embededded n the pavement for car detection/signal change

: This leaves me with only one theory:
: Since the original photo shown depicts TWO sensors for a two lane northbound steet (85th & aurora N) I am thinking this is RED LIGHT RUNNER DETECTION.. yes folks, i think its happening.. I only live 1 mile from that location and will look further, but just 4 or 5 days ago i noticed at LEAST two cameras near or on 130th & aurora N. now thing's are beginning to gell for me... Theres no other reason to have one on EACH light, unless a computer is decideing which lane to email the cities computer database to spit out a ticket based on OCR info querys.... HMMMMMM tel
