In Skagit and Island counties 159.045 is the frequency the mobiles and portables transmit on. They receive on the
repeater output 155.505. The same input/output pair is likely used over there.
It seems like many Troopers set the mobile radio to
monitor the local car to car freq and set the priority scan to the local dispatch freq.
In the mid 80s you could hear this on cars with the UHF extenders when close enough to hear the
mobile to portable link freq.
