You can hear the railroad anywhere between 160.000 and 162.500
In that range, you will also hear news choppers from seattle.
I know Amrtak and BN along with SF and Sounder can be heard in that range.
I set my scan range to that at times and get an ear full.
If by chance you are near Auburn, or Tacoma/ seattle you can also hear the rail yard,
