Happy Meteor shower season. So i'm thinking of using my scanner for meteor shower watching.. i hear this is how it works. CORRECT ME IF I"M WRONG.. this sounds like fun i wanna do it right.
i tune to a distant TX that i cannot recieve, then when a meteor falls between us it reflects the TX back down to me and the TX breaks my squelch right?
So what kinda station should i use for this? distant NOAA? FM radio? AM radio? airport ATIS? somthing lower in the LF region? higher in the UHF?
