And to add one more thing....
The Aid Units are staffed with two (2) Firefighter/EMT's. They can be used in both EMS and Firefighting capacities.
The same is true with the Medic Units, although it is extremely rare that the Firefighter/ Paramedics are used for firefighting activities. This is because they are such a valuable resource, reserved only for the most critical medical and traumatic patients.
