the best scanners to get are the uniden bc 890 base trunk tracker and the b.c 245xlt handheld trunk tracker these 2 radios by far are the best on the market i ownen both of them and very happy with them you will pay a little more but it is worth it i don't ownen any r.s products there not the same quailty in specs ect.do some research on line and you will see the prime differance between them also check around with other scanner buffs and radio people and get you own a pinion on what they think.good luck keith savory.(kb7rfy)
