Can someone give me a positive ID on 154.235 / 156.7? Fire dispatch monitored from Pierce County.

Thanks,

IF you could hear Grant County then it would be a hit! 154.235 is the tac channel for GCFD #5 AND they use a tone of 156.7

Not much info, heard a generic address on a numbered street. Did hear a Medic unit with a four-digit number dispatched and respond (left the exact number in my car, maybe 16xx?).

It's possible it was Grant County - we have a 14000ft reflector in the area.

Thanks,

Yes, the Mountain gives some nice bounces. And it can block conflicting signals. CBC Radio 2 comes in very nicely on 92.1 from places south of Enumclaw.

Medic unit was M1631, and what sounded like E81, if that helps.

In pierce county Medic 1631 is Key Peninsula and Engine 81 is Edgewood.

I have that frequency and PL tone as Cowlitz County Fire Dispatch Channel "Brown".

Longview Fire Department has a station 81, but their website doesn't list a Medic unit being stationed there, only an Engine and Truck company. Could be they added a Medic unit and forgot to tell us scanner enthusiast...

Most likely Cowlitz County Fire Dispatch.

I can hear that repeater from north Seattle depending on propagation and lack of activity on Snopac East. I can also hear the Cowlitz County law enforcement repeaters on 154.815 and 155.535 Mhz, both also using a 156.7 hz tone.
