Any thoughts on this ? I'm thinking too many people use radios "out of the box" and will not be aware to change the bandwidth, not to mention legacy radios out there designed for 5kc steps.

This will put more of a burden on the repeater clubs to update their members on the changes OR it could get messy really quick.

With the number of systems out there running on old Micor and similar equipment (repeaters) this is going to clear up a bunch of channels real quick. At least the FCC fussed over it for about 20 years before making us change..
