I thought I share something I found on the Washington 800 mhz committee website.
In a recent meeting the Pierce county sheriff wants a 800 mhz radio system by 2010 it looks like.

PS. do you know when the mcneil site is going to be active. they activated the licence last june but still no activity or control channel. I think DOC is using it and Lakewood PD

I listen to Tacoma TRS but not in open mode, so I'm assuming I miss some tg's. I read a similar doc like the one you posted that said their sites were to help fill in for Tacoma as well as serving the south end and when Steilacoom and Lakewood come on board. I'm hoping for a pro-98 to come out by then rather than go out and buy a Uniden but thats my bias.
