In trunking mode only... ;) It's only 4 frequencies so probably won't matter much anyway...
Does if you want to follow a conversation
I need to send my TRX-1's back for repair.
In the first TRX, I entered all the licensed Ilani freqs with open TS/CC/TG. I had several hundred hits, and, after sorting them by TGID, was able to hear plenty of conversations. This also worked well for tracking RIDs, as I kept seeing RIDs on TG-10 appear on TG-17, though they never called it anything. Each transition was accompanied by "switch", so obviously they have already prearranged 17 as a c/c channel.
In the second TRX, I built a new trunking system, assigned it all the licensed frequencies and assigned it a wildcard TGID. Again, it recorded several hundred hits which I was able to sort by TGID and follow.
If only I'd had the LCNs, I'd have undoubtedly been able to follow conversations and ascertain the talkgroup usage. Oh well, live and learn.
Taco, you went right past this casino twice two weeks ago- did you have any luck with it using your coveted DSD+?
