if you happen along the tracks between Nisqually and Tacoma see if you can grab the road channel for the new Point Defiance route as they are testing this month. Amtrak and Sounder will be using it later on this year. I will try to get up there soon.

Wasn't sure if BNSF owns the track or not. Use to see Tacoma Rail switching along there.

Well took a drive to Dupont. Tacoma rail work train is there but using 8787 so maybe BNSF still leases it. So you're correct, still BNSF dispatched.

159.525 (127.3)- I'm unsure about this one. Licensed to the Puyallup Tribe as simplex. Sounds repeated, or a patch. I hear the tribal police on here as well as the tribal gaming agents in the casinos. Tribal PD is still on VHF, so this may be a VHF freq for them to talk to the gaming agents? Vice versa?

43.120 241.8 appears to be Holroyd in Olympia. Hear what sounds like a link tone from the base.

Yep-

Tech added that tone only because the signal was so quiet that guys in the field were talking over the office guys too much. Courtesy tone.

This is what happens when you record Interops during the day:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/sdzo38gzv4npb ... .mp3?raw=1

Channels Hit: 8CALL90, VTAC11, VTAC12, VTAC13

(Approximately ~60 files spliced together (in order from when received) after minor post-processing...)

Thanks for that Nick. It appears that COUGAR 68 is likely an MC-12W reconnaissance aircraft from the 489th RS out of Beale ARB, since they were dealing with live video downlinks...
