So does anyone on here own a late-model (15 or 16) Subaru Forester, white, with multiple (like 6) NMOs? Seen it twice recently, with the latest being yesterday in downtown Seattle at 4th and Jefferson.

At least 3 other members have new Subarus, but none fit that bill.

New "super batteries". Apparently they've been making the rounds at various trade shows and conferences and impressing the hell out of folks. Pricing is allegedly the same as Moto OEM stock.

Seen again over the weekend. The multiple antennas, along with a permanent tag, a 2-digit number stuck to the bumper, and the gorgeous blond in the passenger seat (with a scruffy, mustachioed Sean clone driving) leads me to think media.

Well, that and the camera tripod sticking up from the back seat.

Very concerned Sean! Ver-ry concerned!! At least that is what they said on channel 7.

7 hours out of power in Gorst here. A record for the last 5 years or so. Anyone else still out?

One lonely power flicker around 1300, not even enough to slow down the ceiling fan (I have the heat set to "burn").

Now if Tacoma would just stop running that stupid street sweeper up and down my street every 20-30 minutes....

Still out here on Whidbey Island. Based on the damage I saw in the neighborhood, I'll be out for a few days.

Lots of precariously perched trees and huge branches all over the road. I was on the Wing, it was like going through a cone course.

That would be just fun!

We don't have much visible damage around us but still out. The Gorst curve is on however so shouldn't be too much longer I hope.

South Port Orchard is a mess.

ETA- Thank the neighbor 2 houses down whose gardener blew all his leaves from his front lawn into the street.

Wonder who piled all those muddy leaves on his Volvo very early this morning?

Wil needs another cup of coffee.

Here is something of interest about this case I found....

This was copied from comments in another article about the incident. I do not know her personally.
Kelly Hazen

" I live in this city. I watched this unfold on the local news and police scanners. The media has completely twisted this into something it's not. The man was planning to rob the bank next to the clinic. He was confronted in a parking lot (grocery store parking lot) by an officer which caused a shooting and the man then took cover in the clinic. This wasn't a pro life "Christian terrorist" like I've been reading online all morning. PLEASE SHARE!" kelly asked

I still don't see how any gov't agency can legally encrypt their communications without releasing keys or means of monitoring.
