That's where you get arrested for shooting over baited areas.

Not me. Those guys with the moose had to drag it out of a marsh. If you look at the antler you'll see the tag, but I would question the legality of the marsh/water thing.

Look what Motorola says about analog!

Read on:

Quote:
Analog two-way radio has limited battery life, degrading voice quality near at the edge of coverage, and lacks integrated data applications. Additionally, as analog radio users reach their licensed spectrum capacity, crowding the interference occurs. These users can easily justify migrating to the digital technology of MOTOTRBO because they need clear, unbroken, reliable communications. A missed call, user error, garbled message or a dead battery can mean lowered productivity, wasted time and money, unsatisfied customers, interruptions to essential services, or lost business.

As an irregular user of TRBO radios, I find that the batteries on them also go dead, there is little or no voice quality at the edge of coverage, and my overall productivity is extremely low...though the last item may be personal rather than technology-based.

Also, "crowding the interference"? Engrish at the finer spectral capacity of you happy 3-way radio user!

What a load of hogwash.

I just got back to my hotel in time to see a woman putting a doggy sweater on her Husky.

Even the dog looked embarrassed.

1 hour and 57 minute commute this morning. I'd rather be dodging (read: aiming at) coyotes on a back road in Adams County right now.

Why is it that every time, without fail, that I'm driving on I-5 in Western Washington, at some point there's certain to be some moron driving a Prius in the center lane exactly at, or 5mph below, the speed limit?

Tonight was the best with 3 of them at varying spots between South Seattle and SeaTac... 1 was barely breaking 50. In the center lane.

I shouldn't worry myself about it. The maniacs in the Yellow Cab Priuses going between downtown and the airport make up for the rest of the hybrid drivers...passing on the shoulder, tailgating at 85mph while flashing the headlights and hanging half out the window shrieking in Farsi, or just taking up 2 lanes for mile after mile.

It must not be a local phenomenon as someone mentioned this to me yesterday, except down here it happens in the left lane instead of the center lane.

Just happened to me about 30 min ago. Left lane Prius blocking me... she was going right at the speed limit but everyone goes +5 or +10 over on this particular stretch of road. There was a minivan in the right lane between us but she could have easily sped up and moved into the right lane... but nooooo... had to stay in the left lane and at the precise speed.... grrr...

Me?

No, I've never driven a cab.

I thought I was a valet parking attendant?

SPD South just put out a shoplift in the Rainier Valley area; suspect nabbed a mannequin from some store.

Dispatch: Suspect is described as a black male, white sweatpants and black hoodie

Unit: Copy, is there a clothing description on the mannequin?

Dispatch: ...noooooo...

Meanwhile, I engage "Sport Mode" in the Volt and blow their fucking doors off

Who says you can't go eco-friendly-high-tech, and still have some fun?
