I think it's a single-freq repeater. You have to be near the complex to receive it as I get a major data channel on 452.375 from home.

I'll try to verify if it's just a conventional system. I'll be near there Saturday.

Sweet thanks. Yeah I need to use my CloseCall more often. I didn't use it that much on the 396T. Not sure why, it just seemed like a pain to use - but I've figured out how to customize it with the 396XT.

Close Call is pretty good, but even CC DND isn't the perfect combination with a trunked system that uses a dedicated control channel.

so far been quiet, mind you im in a building and have a 800mhz antenna but haven't so much as a beep from the frequency... I have friends coming to the area to use my corporate parking for the snoflake thing at the mall. If I end up wondering around I will flip on CC and see whats out there. not much point dooin it at work too busy and all I end up hearing is all the construction and cabby's hehe

Yeah their radios are only suppose to be 4watts so you may have to be right outside or inside the place. I'm stopping by there tomorrow, so I'll give it a check.

I didn't hear anything either. Hmm. I had close call on as well but nothing. Perhaps it's not used often..?

Nick, did you actually look at the FCC license in the database? It's a MOTOTRBO system.

Yes I did. Did something from the FCC database tell you this?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. I didn't think to check the emission type.

7K60FXE = MotoTRBO

AS per Glenn Mitchell:

Note: The emission codes 7K60FXD and 7K60FXE are for Motorola MOTOTRBO radios. These cannot be monitored.

Note: The emission codes 8K30Fxx and 4K00Fxx are for Kenwood NEXEDGE radios. These cannot be monitored.
