Been hoping for a railroad forum. Just did a track speeder trip on the Mt Hood railroad this past Monday.

switchback approx 3 miles up from Hood River. 3% grade in places.

Did you also go on the OPR also? OPR-1 told me he was going to have some of you guys out before you went up to MHRR.

Yes, Richard and occasionally Kelly were there for all 3 days. His (her) shiny new jeep looks good as a hy-rail.

Friday, Saturday & Sunday

December 4, 5, 6 and 11, 12, 13, 2009!

I think it is still a $5 donation for the speeders which runs from the park to either 17th street or towards OMSI depending on the coordinator....SP&S 700 is scheduled to run the first weekend and SP 4449 the second weekend, both for a larger admission. It's also free to watch too. The speeder group is not affiliated with the steam group.
