anyone have a radio on railroad freq? I just got stuck in a 45 min down crossing and no trains, then it went up then down up down up down, finally got close to it and just cut thru the crossing.

didnt have railroad freq on my car radio to find out what was broken.

Sounds like you were on Meeker or Gowe in downtown Kent. Those Gates are always messing up for no apparent reason.
I drove a Kent bus route and got stuck by those Gates for 35 minutes one time with a bunch of crabby riders on board.
Over in Renton, the Boeing shuttle train went by at Sunset & Bronson, The gates went down, train went by, gates go up and 3 seconds later they go down, then go up again. almost got a couple cars. Seen that happen twice now.

oh I thought it was something cool.

prolly someone who hacked into the grid and is just messing with people.

It probably happens more than you know. For what its worth, it is illegal to go around crossing arms when they are down whether a train is coming or not! You should call 9-1-1 and notify them of the malfunction and they can contact the R.R. to have them respond for repairs. Or...just wait for the next train and maybe it will reset!!

There's also a number at the crossing if you don't want to bother the CR's at Valleycom.
