104.5 is licensed to the City of Covington. When it was proposed to be moved in from The Dalles, Oregon -- I requested that it be moved into the city of KENT. Why not use KENT as the call sign. KENT FM in Kent or just "KENT - Covington" --- Gold Star idea.
KVI - AM 570 started out in Tacoma. The Quarter Wave - 452 foot tall KVI tower on the tip of Mauray Island is just perfect as a 5/8ths wave on 1360. And both stations (KVI & KKMO) operate with 5 KW Non-Directional.
Give me another Gold Star for this idea.
And Mr. B. Preston would like to own a high powered AM station -- in Southern Oregon. The 320 foot tall tower (the former - old KLAD - 960 tower) in Klamath Falls, Oregon would work as a Half Wave tower on 1540 -- a clear channel which is OPEN in that area.
