The Oregon Air National Guard at PDX is upgrading to a P-25 trunked system. The control channel has been on the air since early July at least. I haven't heard anyone using the system yet, and all their conventional base channels are still in use. Here is the PRO96COM information about the system:

System ID : 00A

Call Sign(s) :
Timestamp : Fri Aug 02 13:08:44 2013

After being on the air for almost a year with no activity, I have FINALLY started to hear some users on the 380 MHz P25 trunked system at PDX.

Yesterday afternoon I caught talk group 101 active with what sounded like ground crews loading the F-15s, talking about weight & balance on certain aircraft tail numbers. All in the clear so far.

So it wasn't my imagination!

I tuned the control channel in a couple of weeks ago and thought I caught a couple of affiliations…

I'll be shocked if it stays that way for very long...
