Up here in Seattle we have the benefit of simulcast sites that don't require the programing of every system site.

As I'm trying to program Portland and Multnomah County, I don't see any simulcast sites, but just in name of the "Backbone" site suggests it might effective be a simulcast.

Can anyone provide any information - with the objective of hopefully minimize the number of sites I need to program/scan in the metro Portland area?

Thanks much.

The simulcast sites worked fine for me last time I was in the area.

Where are you find a reference to Simulcasts? In checking here (Intercept radio) I see three frequencies listed as simulcast control channels, but "that other website" (which is not NW centric) shows no simulcast sites....

So I guess my question really is, what frequencies make up the complete trunk system for your simulcast sites? I realize cutting and pasting that hear is a pain in the rear, but I'd certainly appreciate it. :)

Looks like you answered your own question.

I used control channel trunking so I had no reason to look them up, however if I was interested in knowing I'd just look them up in the database. For example:

http://www.interceptradio.com/fcc.php?scall=WNZY850&cmap=1&cfreq=1&spl=FB2&z=1

...etc

Yup! The MultCo 800 system is a simulcast system with add-on IntelliRepeaters providing coverage to specific users like Forest Heights and Cornelius Pass sites.
