A return visit to Cannon Beach, Oregon this past week found some changes / additions to add;

154.1975 simplex used for local C.B.P.D. operations (No common PL tone observed, so might suspect Carrier Squelch. P.D. units use the “700” series”, and Seaside P.D. uses the “600” series unit numbering. Occasional, informal, radio banter observed among staff using this freq.

154.8825 C.B. Lifeguards: (simplex infrequent use, Carrier Squelch)

153.890 @ 127.3hz PL is the input for Seaside Fire Rptr

155.610 appears to be the input for the Seaside P.D Rptr, . . . various PL input tones seen.

Some local simplex activity also heard on 155.130 @ both on 173.8hz and 206.5hz PL, . . . possible local rptr input ? Poor me, . . . guess I'll need to return again next year to continue the saga.

About a year ago I was noticing the same thing. I was getting multiple different PL's on repeater inputs and was lost for most of the weekend trying to sort through it all. It didn't help that the house that we had rented was getting HORRIBLE scanner reception.

Also, N7PIR now has a Seaside repeater on 443.875 with a 100.0 PL! It has IRLP!
