Location: South King County or the beach, usually one or the other.
It all depends on where your going to be. Central covers the downtown business district and outlying areas. SE should cover the areas directly across the river/bridges from downtown and about Burnside St, maybe the Broadway St (east/west, not the Broadway which runs north/south in the downtown area) south. As I understand it, east which used to cover all of SE PDX is now east of the SE precinct. If your going to be in the Rose Garden area and areas north you would probably want the north precinct as well.
The fire dispatch is terrifc compared to the old tap out system. It is all on repeater now and with some thinking most of the multi letter codes can be understood. Also, als and bls dispatch (contracted with AMR used to have a separate tg which was quite busy and interesting.

I have a PRO-92 and I will be going up to Portland from Eugene early this week, I was kinda curious on the 92, while in the MO: setting and with the bank in open mode, do I include all 24 simulcast freqs listed or what to hear both Portland Police and Fire and surrounding area, including Washington and Clackamas County.

Isn't Multnomah County part of the Portland system?

Thanks -
