Since it's a separate forum now wanted to post these up here as well for Oregon Scanner listeners - I usually spend my time in the Salem, OR area when I'm that way so corrections for the rest of the state much appreciated :-)

Oregon file is PDX metro, Willamette Valley, and North Central Oregon down to Bend area...

OregonCoast is the coastline down and then over to Klamath County

Can those files be converted to excell or some other word document so we can open them up? I am very interested in looking over your stuff and seeing if I can offer any updated information.

The only export option is to another binary file format.... it's also not letting me copy/paste to excel.... but you can get the program at http://www.starrsoft.com and use it for 30 days for free - it's a shareware type registration....

If you do a copy and paste of the entire memory list into Excel, it works.

Hrm.... I must be missing something. When I do a copy or a cut, there's nothing in the clipboard for me to paste....

Odd. It works for me because that's how I batch edit the names on all the frequencies.

If you ever get this figured out I would like an excel copy of these 2 files
since I get down that way every so often. I don't have a GRE so the other files won't work. Thanks in advance,

I've not resolved the copy/paste yet, but did hear that Salem, OR has been rebanded and so updated the file to reflect that. I've not been to Salem recently so can't confirm this will work, any feedback much appreciated.

Verified the Salem rebanding changes in the last P500 file... everything worked great when I was down there this weekend.

Thats weird it needed to be modified in the first place. I changed everything when I got the word that rebanding happened in Salem.

I'll be posting a new file on November 20th when Portland, Vancouver, Washington and Clackamas County reband.

it won't let me save it in win500 until I upgrade to the newest firmware of 1.87. I was trying to stay away from the upgrade as I heard it had some bugs.

I downloaded the new version but it wants me to save the oregon500 as a blank file in win500. It shows up as a blank file only when opened.

Hrm. Want me to email the file to you directly? I.e. do you think it's a bad download?
