Those are loaners anyhow, and the Iridium doesn't work and apparently hasn't since June.

Took the GlobalStar again for another test drive.

This pic is at the end of a runway, 1+ nm from any building. It searched for nearly 20 minutes before I gave up.

Globalstar has gotten better after their reogranzation, but they still have that "extended area" coverage I know up your way where there is a weaker signal.

Eh, I'm going to give up until Iridium NEXT is fully up and operational.

I've used Iridium a few times over the years and even with their current network, its been awesome. Also Delorme Inreach units use them and have been great!
