Quote: Mobilitie will pay [Sound Transit] ongoing monthly payments beginning when the wireless communication coverage is activated, at $7,500 per month, and as all four major carriers get enlisted the payments could grow to $10,000 per month, for the life of this agreement. Hooking up a DAS is nothing new, but I had no idea there was this much cash in the game. I assume Mobilitie is taking some off the top, which means each carrier is paying well over $2,500 a month just to get their signals in to a pair of 13 mile tunnels. If so, holy crap, I had no idea there was that much money in this game. |
