Looks like I'm going to make the switch from ATT to Verizon for the data speed. My ATT is unlimited - 3GZ but sounds like I can get that for $40 less a month for two phones. Thoughts?

The Share Everything plans are more like pay a higher rate for less data plans.

Despite being on a grandfathered VZW unlimited plan I rarely go over a gig a month. Speed is great, coverage area is far better.

Share everything with V will be $35 cheaper than ATT. I have unlimited currently with ATT, but that really means 3gig per line. V will be two phones sharing 6 gig and $10 for each 2 gig over that. That seems great.

My kid has decided to stay with ATT because that have newer technology in their phones and at some point will be a problem at Verizon...

Smart kid. AT&T is way better than Verizon.

These two seem to be in conflict with each other.
