Very cool. This is the original MTS with the Western Electric 38-series transmitter/receiver combo. Glad they popped the lids on them so you could see the dynamotor on the transmitter unit. Note the phone numbers were "ZL" (35.66/43.66 low band). The last remaining low band MTS in the NW was in Seattle/Portland/Eugene/Bend and all were on channel ZO.

Ive been very fortunate to have a couple of (now retired) counterparts that both worked on these systems at one point or another in their careers.. One used to own a small system.. And yet another counterpart that still had Dynamotors on his shelf for me to see..
