Optional filter positions have been filled with the Collins units (500, 2500, 6000Hz). Also included is the AS5000 antenna switch, not to mention the original box and manual. Always pampered in a non-smoking climate controlled environment. This unit is indistinguishable from new in all regards. Well over 3K invested, asking $1,700 or best offer.

Sorry about that Larry, I should have been a bit more clear with my description. Actually the letter "U" in the model # identifies the unit as being unblocked, which mine is. Thanks for inquireing.

does the tv-5000 converter add-on kinda do what the icom r3 does?

Pretty good price, I saw it on Grove for 2569.95. Too bad I just dumped a small fortune into my cb.

Good luck on the sale, I don't see why anyone wouldn't go for that one.

In a nutshell....yes. The TV-5000 allows you to display video when the AR-5000 is tuned to certain frequencies. You can find more info on the AOR USA website. http://www.aorusa.com/tv5000.html
