**All six of the XTS2500 700/800 radios are sold. Thanks!**

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Motorola XTS4000 covert VHF radio. (two available)

$800obo

Up for sale is one rare Motorola XTS4000 Covert VHF radio. It was designed by Motorola at the request of the DHS for use on the IWIN radio network. They wanted the features and functionality of the XTS5000 in a package that looked like a traditional Nextel phone. In 2007 these were put into use with agents.

I've been carrying it around for a few weeks now and love the compact size. Radio is currently programmed (receive only, of course) for WSP, OSP, DNR and other misc law enforcement agencies West of the Cascades. It's also programmed for the MURS frequencies for testing purposes. I'll program up to 96 channels free of charge for board members. We can negotiate additional channels though.

Some features:
  • Color LCD display
  • 2 watt TX power
  • 4 customizable buttons in addition to on-screen softkeys
  • 800 Channels- 240 of those are FPP channels
  • Has speaker for traditional usage and earpiece for discrete conversations.
  • P25 digital and regular analog opereration selectable on a per-channel basis
  • ADP Software Encryption. Allows secure comms without the need for an expensive keyloader.

Host: R15.00.00
DSP: R15.00.00

Flashcode: 520001-001304-7
    Q806 ASTRO IMBE Digital Operation

  • XTS4000 VHF radio
  • OEM Motorola VHF antenna
  • OEM Motorola 1260 mAh battery

  • OEM Motorola snap-in belt carry case

Please excuse the iPhone images. I'll post some better shots later.

All UHF Astro Sabers have been sold. Thanks!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

VHF Astro Saber/R Model II 136-174mhz(Three available)

$500obo

Up for sale is one (of three) Astro Saber/R model II digital radios. The package deal includes a good, working NTN7058AR battery. In my tests, the radio will last for 8-10 hours on a charge. If you know the Astro/R, you know how hard these batteries are to find. This is for a true Motorola enthusiast.

Radio is currently programmed (receive only) for WSP, OSP, DNR and other misc law enforcement agencies West of the Cascades. It's also programmed for the MURS frequencies for testing purposes. I'll program up to 96 channels free of charge for board members. We can negotiate additional channels though.

Listen to that wonderful MODAT!

Another VHF XTL has been sold. Have one more available in 05 remote mount or 03 HHCH configuration.

If you'd like a brand new 03 head with 17' extension cable, add $300 to the price.

Just received a small lot of 700/800 XTL5000 dash mount radios with the newer black 05 control heads. Two of them include desk trays with built-in speakers.

$1300 each

Received a large lot of XTS3000r 800mhz model IIs. Some are SmartNet/SmartZone- others are 9600 P25 trunking. All are rebanded and will do IMBE.

$300 ea

Will post pictures of all new radios later.

If you don't have a lot of interior real estate in your car, the 03 head is the perfect solution. It offers 5 programmable buttons, 3 soft keys and a color display. Here's one installed in my commuter car with a Panavise mount. The OEM "FUNK" switch is from a German Polizei car. When they were installed in the Polizei cars, they would route audio between the stereo and the 2-way radio into the factory speakers. I currently have it set up to power the radio on/off:
