I drive a 2002 Ford Focus and I have 3 antennas mounted on the trunk. Our communications shop sells and installs TRAM brand. They work awesome! If you are in the Moses Lake area, I'd be happy to mount one for you. Cost would be close to $100 with installation.

I use an Antenex ABSCANC with the spring option on an Antenex trunk lip on my Ford. Works great, comes off easy with no trace.

Most common TRAM models are for VHF 1151 & 1155. Fur UHF 1173 & 1175.

Taco, what's the height on that ABSCANC?

I switch out between antennas; carry a 800, UHF, VHF high and VHF low, depends what I'm targetting.

19" with the spring. + 0.5 for the mount.
