Hey Guys --
I'm not affiliated with this guy in any way, but this looks pretty slick. It's a SDR radio (on a usb key) that supports frequencies from roughly 64mhz to 1.7 ghz. From what I can gather, it uses SpectraVue or Linrad software both of which have been pretty reliable with HF SDR radios.
The designer/owner just got a new batch and the sale is starting at 2pm today (Friday, Feb 4th) --- cost works out to $173 shipped -- for the Pro model. The key is firmware upgradeable. The device supports any modulation -- presuming you have the software. This could be interesting for trunk decoding, pager decoding -- if there's software for it.
I do know these sold out very fast when they first came out, so if anyone is interested, they may want to pick one up.
I would love to try one, but I don't know what exactly I would use it for... The BW is only 80khz as it wasn't designed to be a pure SDR (see the web site for more info.)
Anyway, if anyone can think of a really cool reason to try one... let me know...
