HF band noise increase may be caused by new LED lighting replacing the old light bulbs.

May be?? I haven't kept up with how many Ive had to track down interfering on multiple bands. My favorite was a laptop charger cord with a pretty blue lighted end that the deputy kept taking out of the car when he dropped it off to have me diagnose the bad noise on his radio.

Right now we be looking at some bus mounted cameras with IR LED's that some bad noise be coming from. Either the USB interface or the LED's. Got to dismount one to test further.

We have switched over to LED lighting and I noticed that the AM band is almost wiped out inside our house by noise and I can only get local stations. Going outside the noise level goes way down and I can receive many AM stations.

Old news. I just laugh when I hear people saying how wonderful it was to spend $600 on (10) LED light bulbs.
