I'm coming up for the weekend to the annual March hamfest in Puyallup.

Who else this year?

Is every geek going to be clutching a ham radio, or do we want to add a Zello group?

We can do both.

I'll be carrying my VHF radio on 147.54 like usual in P25 (293 NAC) and have my NXDN radio in mixed mode on 441.100.

Against my better judgment, I'll probably put in an appearance. People can give me $10 to bask in my presence.

I will give you $10 if you don't show up in sweatpants and that you have taken a shower...

But why would I want to stand out from the rest of the attendees?
An extra $5 nets you a mesh high-vis vest and a ballcap with an NMO mount on the back (like the dude who tried to pick a fight with me in 2008).

It was nice seeing the Motley Crew. It's funny, the Intercept crew were the most height / weight proportionate individuals at the show. Most of the attendees would very much benefit from a weight loss program. Must be the purging dialog here :)

Marcus, your metal hardhat with the NMO mount was the absolute best part of the entire show!

Too bad you missed the after-party.

It was actually just an N connector.
