That's not the talkgroup matrix. As they say, the matrix is the most accurate:

Copied from the email that went on from PNW-DMR.

"Around 0945 the Portland Group (not to leave out the WA guys but don't know how best to refer to this effort) got the MTR3000 installed and on-network on Larch Mountain (Northwest of Vancouver at 4000 feet).

All seems to be well and coverage is being tested. The repeater is rock solid on the IPSC network.

The two repeaters are directly linked so any TG on one will play the same on the other with no variations controlled by the c-Bridge. They can be considered twins, same as the Badi/Cougar repeaters in Washington.

Portland, Portland Metro, West Hills, Stonehenge and KGON (all same reference to the 8400 installed earlier this week) and now Larch are both very wide area and complement each other well.

More to follow I'm sure and I have some comments that I will post soon about how this new arm of PNW will work well together and and well separately.

Anyone with more info, comments, etc, feel free to jump in.

BC 1 is PTT on most PNW managers (DCI IPSC repeater networks). It is of course on full time on the two British Columbia provincial repeaters as those are their main locals and loosely similar to our statewide talkgroups.

It is similar to our approach at PNW with the statewides, that is that the instate repeaters are full time and the out of state repeaters are on PTT. This enables the TG's to operate independently yet does support out of state to initiate a call to another state on demand. It works very well and allows more simultaneous conversations than the native 2 timeslots provide.

It does get rather complex within the c-Bridge, so DCI let's the public matrix page be the controlling document for the c-Bridge programming and interested parties can voice any problems or anomalies using that page as the bible, so to speak.

Scott Mtn (1,600 ft, SE of Mt. Vernon) is now on the air.

440.925 CC1

Currently the TX antenna is low on the tower - it will go up higher in the coming weeks.

This new DMR repeater provides coverage to Mt. Vernon, North Snohomish County (into downtown Everett), and all around the north part of Puget Sound.

This is a very nice addition to the local ham DMR network, and is provided by Rob/AF7PR with the assistance of Andy/KK7TR. Also thanks to Mike/NO7RF for his technical guidance and getting it set up on the C-Bridge.

More information on the DMR system can be found at http://www.trbo.org/pnw/

Brad.

The Mt. Vernon repeater was fixed last week and has a really good range (Port Angeles to Bellingham to Lynnwood). There are two more repeaters planned in Olympia on Capital peak and in Bremerton on Gold Mtn
