Have been hearing some Law Enforcement related traffic on this frequency. Its in Apco-25 Digital. Just curious if anybody knows the usage of this frequency.

I live in Victoria and I can recieve it pretty good, so it must be relatively close (Skagit, Snohomish, Clallam county?) If anybody knows could you send me a private message. Thanks,

Cory

Sounds American to me, and from what I know the RCMP doesnt use that range of frequencies... they are mostly in the 139-144 mhz range

That was my first thought but there is nothing registered to them in the Industry Canada database on that frequency. Plus they were talking about a guy standing on the corner of an intersection so it didnt really sound like it was inside a prison.

FCC General Menu Reports shows a few possibilities.
Interestingly, none of them appear to have updated emission designators on license to show digital...

State of Washington holds KNAW437, using this freq in Sedro Wooley
Island County also shows this freq under WPUK443 & WPFQ650. Appears to be a part of their Fire System (Island Cty).

Again, all are showing 20K0F3E emmission designator, which is wide-band analog FM. I didn't see designator for digital on any of them.
