There is a possibility that I will be traveling to the Surrey and Cloverdale, British Columbia areas in the not so distant future. Can anyone advise if it is possible to monitor police/fire/ambulance/etc. in these areas or have the transmissions become digital or encrypted. I use a Bearcat 245XLT. If able to monitor can anyone assist with some of the local frequencies. Also for the Aldergrove and Abbotsford areas as well please.
Many thanks,
Gampawayne

The Police and Ambulance are on Pro-Voice so you cannot monitor them, but all the FD's are are on either VHF/UHF or analog trunked system

If you need more info on FD's email at

quint15@dccnet.com
