There is a possibility that I will be traveling to the Surrey and Cloverdale, British Columbia areas in the not so distant future. Can anyone advise if it is possible to monitor police/fire/ambulance/etc. in these areas or have the transmissions become digital or encrypted. I use a Bearcat 245XLT. If able to monitor can anyone assist with some of the local frequencies. Also for the Aldergrove and Abbotsford areas as well please. Many thanks, Gampawayne |

The Police and Ambulance are on Pro-Voice so you cannot monitor them, but all the FD's are are on either VHF/UHF or analog trunked system If you need more info on FD's email at quint15@dccnet.com Shane |
