Good Day. Trying to track down a few WADNR channels that I don't have in my stuff: Since I retired from doing this stuff on a regular basis, I don't have the same tools accessible like I did before. Here are my missing sites I am trying to track down: ST Adams, ST St Helens, and Harbor. I know the State channels are DPL and looking to confirm the frequencies and tones for the Harbor site. Maybe n7ryy or icom1020 can shed light from their travels. Thanks. Scott |

Don't have tones for all the ST sites but usually they are 159.420 if IIRC |

Thanks for the reply Chris. That is what I show for State also. With the couple of exceptions like ST Clark which is a different frequency. The latest map shows ST Cowlitz at Green Mtn. It used to be at Signal Peak from info I have from years past. Signal Peak now shows ST St Helens. Trying to confirm the tones to make sure that I have the correct sites placed and toned. Harbor appears to be at the same site as ST Westport. It appears that Rx is 159.4425 and Tx is 151.4450 from what is listed per the FCC DB. Just trying to get the correct tones for that area frequency. Here is the link to the map: https://www.dnr.wa.gov/publications/rp_ ... er_map.pdf |

Scott, I think like most fire managers, they want geographic radio assignments to make sense rather than memorize where a certain peak is. Let us know what you find, SECOMM in the Tri Cities actually refers in the automated voice " geographic is Umatilla" |

Set them up for what area they are for and you aren't having to search all over for the channel or talk group. I sure saw some really interesting ones in my career that had not rhyme or reason on how they were put together. Just was looking to see if anyone out there has the info to fill in the blanks. |

Sorry for the late response Scott, I have some info from 2020 so not sure how current State Clark 159.3375 D156 State Cowlitz 159.420 D031 State Gorge 159.420 D632 State Pacific 159.420 D464 State Packwood 159.420 D732 State St Helens 159.420 D703 State Thurston 159.285 D244 State Westport 159.420 D251 As of 2021 there was a State repeater at Signal Peak, saw it in person. |

nickcarr wrote: Thanks Nick, no state repeaters there but still great info. So it looks like State Westport or Harbor is on what’s called Scar Hill. New site to DNR apparently as there is an area repeater with a DPL code also weirdly. Scar Hill, B-Line Road, E of Hwy 101 Cosmopolis, WA GRAYS HARBOR County 46-51-23.7 N, 123-41-41.0 W Looks like State Cowlitz used to be at Abernathy and got moved to Green Mt (Kalama) at some point. Not sure how long State St Helens has been around, I assume it’s been at Signal Peak for awhile. FYI there is a patch to State Clark on the CRESA P25 system. |

From the FCC ULS, it appears at ST HELENS at Signal Peak would be correct. They tweaked their license around 2017 or so, (same for the Green Mtn site) but who knows when they actually did the install. ST ADAMS seems to be at Flattop Mountain in Klickitat County. Licensed since around October of 2016. Ditto on the install. Now to find those elusive DPL tones that go with those sites. |
