About a week ago, there was a car chase in Mukilteo that crossed into neighboring Mill Creek. Lynnwood and Edmonds were also alerted and the Mukilteo officer said he's switching to "Police One". What talk group is that? I thought I had all the Tacs and Mutual Aid TGs programmed but I missed the switch.

If you were listening to Mukilteo or Edmonds dispatch, you would've been on "Police 1" (TG 4816). For the sake of dispatch, Mukilteo resides on Police 1. If the chase was taking place on TAC 1 or some other channel, the Mukilteo officer may have been switching back to Police 1. Or in the case of Lynnwood which is dispatched on Police 2, they may have been switching to Police 1. Either way, you probably have all of the channels you need programmed, it just sounds like something was jumbled in translation. BTW, Police 1 also serves Mountlake Terrace, Brier and some mythological city called Woodway. I believe that is where the Keebler Elves live.

This may help as well (copied from our Snohomish County page).

Police 1 - TGID 4816 - Dispatch for Edmonds, Mt. Lk. Terrace, Mukilteo, Brier, Woodway.
TAC 1 - TGID 4848 - Back-Up / TAC for Police 1 users.
Police 2 - TGID 4880 - Dispatch for Lynnwood
TAC 2 - TGID 4912 - Back-Up / TAC for Police 2 users.
Police 3 - TGID 4944 - Alternate Dispatch/overflow (currently not used much)

Good luck...
