Could anyone tell me what fleet maps I should install in my PRO 97 for King and Snohomish counties and do they run Motorola Type 1, 2 or Hybrid. |

Motorola Type 2 and no need for fleetmaps If I remember right all you need is the control channel to scan for talk groups. Good Luck |

I have one more question now about control channels. Do I only need to program the control channels or do I need to program all the channels along with the control channels, and why is that? Thanks for your help. |

You can do it one of two ways. Program all the freqs into the scanner it will work. Or Just the Control Channel into the radio. Then search for talkgroups. or program the talk groups in that you want to listen to. Good Luck, |

I am not familiar with that perticular model of scanner but if you put in the control channles only and it is capable of running of the control channels only you will have to set it in that mode otherwise put in all the channels... |

control channels only... then save the talkgroups as they come up... then you can lockout a talkgroup or whatever... I have the Pro-97. I use Win97 to program it... much easier! and free trial... |
