Hello, new user here.I was wondering is there anyway to download info from this site, and put it into my scanner, such as freescan, .996 files, ect. I have a Uniden 396xt and I don't quite understand how to program trunked systems, or system updates by hand. I'm in Everett, and mainly just listen to Sno Co SERS. Thanks in advance for any information. |

No, this site doesn't have any download system. You'd have to do it manually. Someone may offer you their 396XT freescan file for Snohomish County if you ask nicely. ;o) Programming the scanner via the scanner or software is very easy. Also, YouTube is your friend here: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... rogramming |

Here is a link to a Freescan 396/996 file for WA/OR/CA. Its also GPS-enabled should you care to attach a GPS to your scanner and have it automatically tune the area you are in. It hasn't been updated in a while but I'm sure a good amount of it is still valid. You can extract SERS and delete the rest if you aren't interested in the other areas. http://www.interceptradio.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4841&p=37614 |
