Tacoma PD, Lakewood PD, DuPont PD, WSP, PCSO, Puyallup PD, Fife PD, Steilacoom DPS all definitely responded, I would assume Fircrest PD too since they're nearby. Also probably Bonney Lake PD as part of the Metro SWAT team.
Basically nearly everybody who was on duty at the time in Pierce County responded. Communication initially was on PCSO West (155.640) and TPD's 800 mhz system with the dispatchers relaying traffic back and forth. Eventually the non-TPD units switched to LERN and could be heard on the King County system. I'm not sure if TPD switched to LERN or didn't have that capability or what.
