Why on Earth would they need a trunked system?? Really?? Someone made a tidy profit selling them on LTR. :P

In a way it makes sense. The schools themselves can load on to the system over time.

I worked with a larger District who stayed conventional UHF. Mostly simplex except 5 100 watt repeaters at the high schools (kinda overkill)

There were nearly 100 specific freq / tone combinations to cover each schools' onsite needs, the repeaters etc. it was kind of a nightmare.
