Am thinking of getting a Minitor Fire Pager, which is programmable to activate on certain tones. Thinking that I need Battalion 71 and Engine 72.

Does anyone know the tone equivalents or structure to SnoPac? Or a resource that would contain that information?

Will try deducing through Wintone, but a document would be even better

Look around 2575/1530 and like a 1200 for 72's.

I used to be a resident at 71,72 and 74

Don't bother buying a Minitor. Sno Co will be implementing phase 2 of 800 MHZ and all of the vhf paging and tones will be going away. Paging will be done via alpha 800 paging. South County is already using it although I am not sure if the vhf paging has stopped there yet or not.

South King County has many agencies now using the alphanumeric only paging/station alerting.

It all started when the final three south King County fire agencies moved from Southcom (operated by the Federal Way FD) to Valleycom. Those three agencies were Federal Way, Seatac and North Highline.

When those three moved over, that is when the Valleycom owned alpha paging system went online.

Now, Fire District 2 (Burien/Normandy Park) and the City of Kent utilize the alpha paging system. You should see more agencies migrate to this system soon. I think King County Medic One is moving towards this as well.

If you listen to the Fire-1 VHF simulcast, you will still hear tones for Kent and Burien, but those agencies don't use tone and voice paging anymore. Valleycom will continue to provide this until the alpha paging is fully implimented.

Does anyone know what format Valleycom uses for alpha-paging?
