Since the last few ham stores closed I've thought it odd that greater Seattle can't support a ham radio store...

So where do we go now for parts in the Olympia/Tumwater area?

Guess out of area or online. I heard the owner of ERI leased the building from his brother in-law but has the bldg for sale and being 67, it was time to retire.

They were feeding you a line. I thought it sounded hard to believe so I called Electronic Resourcing Inc. today and it was picked after the second ring. I told the guy what I had heard and he said "then what am I doing here answering the phone?"

I didn't get his name, but he said there are no immediate plans that he was aware of to close the business.

Weird ok.. drove by tonight and the only thing to confirm is 2 "building for sale" signs at either entrance. Nothing posted on the door and the inventory appears to be intact

It's not the end. They're getting rid of the inventory because the building was sold, as previously mentioned. However, the owner is looking for another building and plans to continue the business.

He should change his "going out of business" sign to 'moving'
